Man sentenced for role in money laundering for drug distribution

An Oakland, Calif., man has been sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to supplying marijuana and cocaine and money laundering for a drug distributor in Eagle Park in Madison County.

Alfonso Hayden, 45, was sentenced Thursday in federal court for his role in the drug ring between December 2009 and June 2010.

Twenty-eight other people associated with the Madison County drug distribution ring also have been convicted and sentenced.
