Police search for missing Valmeyer man

Police are searching for a 38-year-old Valmeyer man, who is diabetic and has gone missing.

Jason Stumpf went missing last Tuesday, family members said. His disappearance was reported to police on Friday.

Monroe County Deputy Henry Ford said Stumpf is 6-foot-1, 240 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is an insulin dependent diabetic and went missing without his medicine.

"He was last seen driving a silver Ford F-350, four-door pickup with Illinois license plates 3262XF.

Nicole Stumpf said her brother was last seen by family members at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. Ford said police do not suspect foul play. The family plans to provide a monetary reward for any information that leads to his whereabouts.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's Department at 939-8651.
