ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

MONDAY, APRIL 14

Richard L. Russell, 40, of 605 N. Charles St., Apr. 15, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about March 1 by Fairview Heights police. Russell allegedly had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Joey L. Jones, 46, 2100 E. B St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of aggravated domestic battery on or about April 10 by Belleville police. Jones allegedly, in committing a domestic battery, knowingly caused bodily harm to a female with the initials A.H. and date of birth of March 4, 1982, a family/household member, in that said defendant punched her in the back of the head, in the face and in the back of the head.

David L. Calhoun, 52, of 2533 Natalie Ave., Apt. 25, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, subsequent on or about April 9 by East St. Louis police. Calhoun allegedly, made physical contact with Lavondia Benford, a family/household member in that said defendant grabbed Benford by the neck. Defendant had been previously convicted of domestic battery on July 16, 2000.

Desiree L. Spates, 20, of 2712 Ridge Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle on or about April 10 by Metro East Auto Theft Task Force. Spates allegedly a person not entitled to possession of said vehicle, possessed a white 2000 Mercury Gran Marquis of Riley Chevrolet, knowing it to have been stolen.

Ramonte K. Gibbs, 24, of 6500 Bonita Blvd., Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of child abduction on or about April 10 by Belleville police. Gibbs allegedly, being a putative father of A.G., a child with date of birth, Dec. 12, 2012 and without having established the paternity of A.G. intentionally detained A.G. without the consent of Aprena Nelsin, the mother of A.G.

Mario D. Watkins, 25, of 3322 Hereford St., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated fleeing of police and resisting a police officer on or about April 12 by Brooklyn police. Watkins allegedly, while operating a motor vehicle, a white 2005 Volvo S-60, was given a visual signal by police officer, Officer Dean Anderson, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said white 2005 Volvo S-60 to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and that when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant traveled at a rate of speed 21 mph over the legal speed limit; knowingly resisted the performance of Officer Dean Anderson of an authorized act within his official capacity, being the arrest of said defendant, knowing Officer Dean Anderson to be a peace officer engaged int he execution of his official duties, in that said defendant fought and pulled away from Officer Dean Anderson while Officer Anderson attempted to handcuff defendant.

Kenneth Gray, 38, of 5834 Saloma Drive, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis on or about April 12 by Brooklyn police. Gray allegedly, carried in a vehicle a 9mm Luger semi-automatic firearm at a time when defendant was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business or on the land or in the legal dwelling of another person as an invitee with that person's permission, and the said defendant was ingaged in a misdemeanor violation; knowingly and unlawfully had in hispossession less than 2.5 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Craig D. Egerson, 32, of 521 S. 19th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of obstructing justice on or about March 28 by St. Clair County sheriff. Egerson allegedly, with the intent to obstruct the prosecution, knowingly furnished false information to Deputy Christopher David, a police officer, as to said defendant's identification, in that he related to the officer that his identity was Sorrell A. Darough.

Ariya N. Martin, 28, of 709 Galahad, Glen Carbon, arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of medical assistance on or about April 10 by Centreville police. Martin allegedly, used a medical card in a manner not authorized by law or by rules and regulations of the Illinois Department of Public Aid.

Anthony T. Mosley, 20, of 314 Greystone Drive, Apt. A, Centreville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about April 12 by St. Clair County sheriff. Mosley allegedly, carried in a vehicle a .25 caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, and said defendant had not been issued a current, valid FOID Card.

TUESDAY, APRIL 15

Mark A. Walton, 29, of 3131 Holiday St., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or abour March 30 by Swansea police. Walton allegedly, took merchandise from Huck's, located at 4590 N. Illinois St., Swansea, being packages of electronic cigarettes, total retail value in excess of $300.

Whitney N. Edwards, 21, of 450 N. 6th St., Apt. 240, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about April 14 by Fairview Heights. Edwards allegedly, took merchandise from The Buckle, 204 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, being pairs of jeans and shorts, total retail value in excess of $300.

Phillip D. Wilhold Jr., 42, of 3017 N. 49th St., Fairmont City, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of cannabis sativa plants and unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Feb. 14, 2013 by Fairmont City police. Wilhold allegedly, possessed more than 5 but less than 20 cannabis sativa plants in the residence located at 2533 N. 31st St., Fairmont City; had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Shannon L. Moore, 23, of 207 Willow, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Nov. 24, 2013 by Fairmont City police. Moore allegedly, had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Chas A. Wallace, 24, of 4053 Mississippi Ave., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about June 23, 2012 by Cahokia police. Wallace allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 1511 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokis, being iPad power adapters and iPad camera connection kits, total retail value not in excess $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of Retail Theft on April 7, 2010.

Taneki M. Marshall, 27, of 57 Jarvis Place, Alorton, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about March 29 by Cahokia police. Marshall allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 1511 Camp jackson Road, Cahokia, being a shirt and pair of pants, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of Retail Theft on Dec. 14, 2007.

Laquita N. Cureton, 29, of 2562 Forest Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about April 11, 2012 by Cahokia police. Cureton allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 1511 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, being a glove and locks, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of Reatil Theft on Jan. 19, 2005.

Ceontae D. Matthews, 21, of 1102 N. Smiley St., O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about May 23, 2012 by Cahokia police. Matthews allegedly, took merchandise from Wal-Mart, 1511 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, being two Uniden Security Systems, total retail value in excess of $300.

Corey A. Alberson, 32, of 512 Green Haven Drive, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery on or about Jan. 24, 2013 by Illinois State Police. Alberson allegedly, in committing a battery and while standing on a public way, the shoulder of the road on North 9th Street, East St. Louis, the defendant made physical contact with Anthony Campbell in that the defendant pulled down the pants of Anthony Campbell without his consent exposing his buttocks and visually examined with a flashlight the naked buttocks while holding his pants down.

Kenneth L. Fults III, 34, of 1601 Eiler Road, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and driving under the influence on or about March 12 by St. Clair County sheriff. Fults allegedly, had in his possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine; drove a white 2005 Cadillac Escalade on Camp Jackson Road in Cahokia, while there was an amount of a drug substance or compound in his breath, blood, or urine resulting from the unlawful use or comsumption of methamphetamine.

Thomas W. Lunceford Jr., 46, of 2900 Sand Road, Lot 138, Edwardsville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle, burglary and resisting a police officer on or about April 14 by Shiloh police. Lunceford allegedly, a person not entitled to possession of said vehicek possessed a gray 2002 Chevy Silverado, of Joe Pence, knowing it to have been stolen; knowingly entred into a motor vehicle, a 2004 Infinity FX35, of Samantha Carter, located at 1029 Lincoln Highway, Fairview, with the intent to commit theft therein; knowingly resisted the performance of Kyle Bade and Jesse Phillips of an authorized act within their official capacity being the arrest of Thomas Lunceford, knowing Kyle Bade and Jesse Phillips to be police officers engaged in the execution of their official duties, in that he refused to be handcuffed.

Joyce Y. Graham, 29, of 2218 Martin Luther King Drive, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance on or about April 16 by Fairview Heights police. Graham allegedly, carried in a vehicle a Ruger handgun, and said defendant had not been issued a valid FOID Card; knowingly had in her possession a substance containing morphine.

Christopher Wilson, 36, of 6 Wheelwright Court, Manchester, Mo., arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a look-a-like substance on or about Feb. 19 by Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southwestern Illinois. Wilson allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing hydrocodone; knowingly had in his possession a look-a-like substance.

Dale E. Sauls, 53, of 13 Kingsbury Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of violation or order of protection, subsequent and violation of order of protection on or abour April 13 by Belleville police. Sauls allegedly, having been served with the contents of an order of protection issued on March 31, by the Circuit Court of St. Clair County, did knowingly commit an act which was prohibited by the order of protection in that said defendant made a telephone call to Karla Sauls, a protected party; having been seved with the contents of an order of protection, by the Circuit Court of St. Clair County, did knowingly commit an act which was prohibited by the order of protection in that said defendant made a telephone call to Karla Sauls, a protected party. The defendant had been previously convicted of Violation of an Order of Protection on Feb. 3, 2012.

Deanthony D. Dillard, 23, of 733 N. 22nd St., A, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of worship and unlawful possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of religious worship on or about April 15 by St. Clair County sheriff. Dillard allegedly, while within 1,000 feet of a place of worship, being Bethel United Church of Christ, located at 2200 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, knowingly delivered to confidential source less than 1 gram of a substance containing cocaine; while within 1,000 feet of a place of religious worship, being Bethel United Church of Christ, located at 2200 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, knowingly possessed with the intent to deliver, less than one gram of a substance containing cocaine.
