Rain, storms return to region

There is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms in the forecast with the most likely chance of rain coming during the afternoon and evening hours, according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperature is expected to reach 74 degrees. Overnight skies will gradually clear and the low will drop to 53.

Skies are expected to be sunny on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a high of 70 each day.

The next chance for rain comes Thursday, when there is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms.
