Police: Trio steals $30,000 worth of iPads from Collinsville Walmart

— Police are searching for three men who allegedly stole more than $30,000 worth of iPads from the Collinsville Walmart.

According to Collinsville Police, three men entered the Walmart Supercenter at 2:30 a.m. Monday and somehow managed to open the iPad display case in the electronics department. The suspects stole about $31,000 worth of iPads, and left the store in a white Chevrolet Impala.

Police said the men had attempted a similar theft at a Walmart in Arnold, Missouri.
