St. Clair Bowl to host summer youth camp

St. Clair Bowl will host a summer youth bowling camp at St. Clair Bowl, 5950 Old Collinsville Road in Fairview Heights on June 23-26.

The camp will be a good opportunity for junior high bowlers to prepare for high school bowling and to allow high school bowlers to fine-tune their games for competition. Camp is limited to the first 30 entries.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day and registration fee is $125.

The camp will be hosted by: USBC Silver Level coach Mike Imes, O'Fallon High School boys varsity bowling coach; USBC Silver Level coach Jon Kelley, Mascoutah High boys varsity bowling coach and USBC Bronze Level coach Robb Laber.

The camp includes, instruction, lane time, classroom, video analysis, snack and T-shirt.

Instruction includes grip and ball analysis, stance and delivery, balance and release, share-shooting, video taping and review and introduction to Kegel Challenge Series Patterns.
