3 -- Spring Farm Day: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Willoughby Heritage Farm, 631 Willoughby Lane in Collinsville. Visit goats, lambs, rabbits, hens and roosters. See sheep shearing and wool spinning. Free activities for children include hayrides, scavenger hunts, crafts, horseshoe tournament. Presentations by Home Depot and Treehouse Wildlife Center. Craft vendors and homemade treats available or purchase. Admission $2 per person; maximum $10 per family; children 5 and under, free.

3 -- St. Clair County Law Day Run/Walk: Downtown Belleville.

3 -- Cahokia Mounds Storytelling: 2 p.m., auditorium, Cahokia Mounds Historic Site. Native American storyteller. Part of the St. Louis Storytelling Festival.

3 -- Cinco de Mayo Festivities: 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Fairview Heights VFW Post 8867, 5325 N. Illinois. Free food. Pot shots, 50/50, silent auction, games, music. Proceeds benefit veterans and the community.

3 -- Millstadt Villagewide Yard Sale: 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sposored by Millstadt Historical Society. Complimentary coffee and maps available at Millstadt Community Center, 102 S. Jefferson St. where Historical Society members will sell breakfast burritos, baked goods, beverages and lunch item. Participating residences and businesses will display yellow markers.

3 -- Bluegrass and Elvis Show: 7 p.m. Saturday, Jailhouse Rock, Trenton. Music by George Portz and the Friends of Bluegrass. Free admission.

3 -- Kids Day at Fort de Chartres: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Community Park, Prairie du Rocher. 18th century games, contests, storytelling, refreshments. Free.

3 -- Lebanon May Market: West St. Louis Street, Lebanon. Street will be filled with plants, antiques, gardening items, artisans, food, music. Free admission.

4 -- Maeystown Fruhlingfest/Springfest: 9-4 p.m. Sunday, Maeystown. Antique and Garden Show and Food Fair in the village center along Maeystown Creek.

4 -- St. James Spring Fling: Sunday, St. James Catholic Church grounds, 405 W. Madison St., Millstadt. Barbecue dinner, 2-6 p.m. Cow Patty Bingo ($10 a square), 4-5 p.m.

4 -- D.A.R.E. Car Cruse: noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Wildey Theater, Main Street, Edwardsville. Music, 50-50, dash plaques, door prizes. See movie "Stingray," filmed in Edwardsville in 1978, at 2 p.m.Tickets at edwardsvilledare.com, Wildey Theatre.com or 618-307-1750. Sponsored by Piston Pushers Classic Car Club. Proceeds benefit the Edwardsville Police Department D.A.R.E. program of District 7 schools.

9 -- Senior Celebration: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, PSOP, 201 N. Church St., Belleville. PSOP turns 40. Bingo, magic shows, dancing to the Country Western Band. Lunch served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; $4 for hot dog or bratwurst, sauerkraut, spaetzle, applesauce and beverage. No reservations required. Raffle tickets $1 each.

10 -- Build Benld Craft Fair and Flea Market: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Benld Civic Center. More than 45 vendors. Serving homemade food including Italian beef and barbecue sandwiches.

10-11 -- Strawberry Festival: Saturday and Sunday, Eckert's Country Store and Farm, 951 S. Green Mount Road, Belleville. Outdoor festival foods and country music at this old-fashioned all-American festival. Free wagon ridges, live music, kid's activities include pony rides, play area, petting farm, carnival rides and inflatables. Strawberry treats in the bakery, custard shop and restaurant. Fee charged for some activities.

14 -- Car Cruise: 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dandy Inn, U.S. 50 and Old Collinsville Road, Fairview Heights. First 100 cars receive free commemorative plaque.

15-17 -- Marine Villagewide Garage Sale. Mornings.

16 -- Mascoutah Spring Fest and Car Show: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday, Main Street, Mascoutah. Food, music, children's activities and car show.

16 -- Troy Family Summer of Fun, 6 p.m. Friday, Tri-Township Park, Troy. Free food, entertainmend and showing of the film "Frozen."

16-17 -- Nut 'N Butt Q: Friday and Saturday, Schoendienst Park, Germantown. The Kernel Nut Club and St. Louis BBQ Society sanctioned cookoff. More than $5,000 in prizes. Music, food, drinks; bags tournament; 50/50 drawings; kids entertainment. Proceeds benefit youth of Germantown.

16-18 -- Art on the Square: 5-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, around Veterans Memorial Fountain, Belleville. Juried art fair featurig 103 artists in 12 fine art categories. Children's Garden of Art area with hands-on activities. Wine and fine cuisine area. Living with Art Interior Design Stage with local designers showcasing how to use artwork in you home. 26 -- Swansea Memorial Day Ceremony: 10 a.m. Monday, Melvin Price Park on Caseyville Avenue. Music by Metro East Chorale, fellowship with community members, speaker.
