A Washington Park man faces a felony charge of armed robbery after being arrested while driving away from the scene Friday in Fairview Heights, according to police.

Charles J. Rice, 24, of the 1308 N. 52nd St., allegedly robbed Wooff Realtors in Fairview Heights about 10:30 a.m. Police arrested Rice based upon a victim's description of the suspect when he was spotted driving a Chevrolet Blazer in the 10800 block of Lincoln Trail in Fairview Heights.

A firearm and money were recovered during the arrested, police said. A second suspect, who was riding with Rice, was arrested as well.
