The owner of a martial arts school in O'Fallon has been charged with felony criminal assault for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Tony E. Harris Jr., 32, of Mascoutah, faces three counts of criminal sexual assault. The charges stem from an investigation by O'Fallon police.

The teen victim was a student of Harris at Invicta Martial Arts Academy in O'Fallon, where Harris is the instructor and owner. It is unclear when the relationship began, according to police.

If parents of current or former students of the academy are suspicious of any behavior between Harris and their child, they are encouraged to contact O'Fallon police by calling 624-4545.

Harris was being held Saturday in the jail at the O'Fallon Police Department.
