monday, april 28

Dylan S. Kempf, 22, of 640 Urbanna Drive, Freeburg, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substnace on or about April 25 by Marissa police. Kempf allegedly, had in his possession a pill capsule of a substance containing amphetamine.

Willie J. Brown, 40, of 14 Gompers Homes C, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of theft on or about Feb. 9 by St. Clair County sheriff. Brown allegedly, took property of Paducah Riggins, located at 7701 St. Clair Ave., East St. Louis, being miscellaneous pieces of rigging equipment, total in excess of $500.

Jamal C. Williams, 21, of 297 Johnson Lane, Centreville, arrested on suspicion of theft on or about April 23 by St. Clair county sheriff. Williams allegedly, took property of Christy Hornacek bieng a white Maytag dryer, total value in excess of $500.

Charles J. Rice, 24, of 1308 N. 52nd St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery on or about April 25 by Fairview Heights police. Rice allegedly, while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being U.S. currency, from teh presence of Dena Brinkman, by threatening the use of force.

Jamaica N. Burrell, 33, of 4320 Bunkum Road, Washington Park, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, contributing to criminal deliquency of a minor and endangering the life and health of a child on or about April 25 by O'Fallon police. Burrell allegedly, took merchandise from Wal-Mart, located at 1530 West Highway 50, O'Fallon, being 119 miscellaneous store items including clothing, toys and food, total retail value in excess of $300; a person over the age of 21, with the intent to facilitate the commission of the offense of retail tehft, directed a male minor with the initials A.H., date of birth Jan. 16, 1999, a person under the age of 17; willfully caused the life/health of a male minor, date of bith April 25, 2012, a child under the age of 18, to be endangered in that said defendant left the child unattended int eh car in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Keith A. Baker Sr., 44, of 1211 Gaty Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence, driving on revoked, subsequent and operating uninsured motor vehicle on or about April 26 by Illinois State Police. Baker allegedly, drove a red Chevrolet Tahoe on 4th Street in EAst St. Louis, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were suspended/revoked; knowingly operated a red Chevrolet Tahoe, on 4th Street in East St. Louis without liability insurance. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While LIcense is Suspended/Revoked on Oct. 17, 2012.

Tony E. Harris Jr., 32, of 9672 Hayden Drive, 2, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of three counts of criminal sexual assault from between Jan 1 and April 18 by O'Fallon police. Harris allegedly, who was 17 years of age or older and held, as a martial arts instructor of the female minor with a date of birth of May 26, 1998, a position of authority in relation to the female minor, committed criminal sexual assault with the female minor three times.

Jamie L. Swisher, 36, of 1320 Park Plaza, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of two counts of misuse of a credit card on or about March 7 by O'Fallon police. Swisher allegedly, with the intent to defraud the issuer, Bradford national Banked used a Visa debit card, without the cardholdrs's consent for the purpose of obtaining U.S. currency, total value of $100 and an additional $2.50 convenience fee for a total of $102.50; used a debit Visa card for the purpose of obtaining cigarettes, Mountain Dew, slice of pizza and cinnamon roll, total value of $11.90.

Ronald A. Pauly, 24, of 1211 W. A St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated fleeing and attempted to elude a police officer, obstructing justice and obstructing identification on or about April 26 by Fairview Heights police. Pauly allegedly, while operating a motor vehicle, a silver 2005 Saturn Ion, was given a visual signal by a police officer, Timothy Birckhead, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said silver 2005 Saturn Ion to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer the defendant traveled at a rate of speed 21 mph over the legal speed limit; with the intent to obstruct the prosecution of Ronald Pauly for the offense of Aggravated Fleeing and Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, knowingly furnished false information to Timothy Birckhead, a police officer, as to the identity of the driver of the 2005 Saturn Ion, in that he related to the officer that Nathan Wheeler was the driver of the vehicle; knowingly furnished a false name to Timothy Birckhead, a peace officer, who has good cause to believe the said defendant is a witness to a criminal offense.

Alyson T. Valci, 22, of 1800 E. C St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of obstructing justice on or about April 26 by Fairview Heights police. Valci allegedly, with the intent to obstruct the prosecution of Ronald Pauly for the offense of Aggravated Fleeing and Attempting to Elude a police officer, knowingly furnished false information to Timothy Birckhead, a police officer, as to the identity of the driver of the 2005 Saturn Ion, in that she related to the officer than Nathan Wheeler was the driver of the vehicle.

Anthony M. Luster, 58, of 1306 Williams St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent and battery on or about April 27 by Cahokia police. Luster allegedly, took merchandise from Wal-Mart, 1511 Camp Jackson Raod, Cahokia, being Trojan brand condoms, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of Retail Theft on July 15, 1998; knowingly without legal justification made physical contact with Brandon Scalf, in that he choked Brandon Scalf with his hand.

John D. Reed, 53, of 1415 1st Ave., Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of driving on a revoked or suspended license under the influence on or about March 16 by Cahokia police. Reed allegedly, drove a 2004 Ford 350 on St. Stephen in Cahokia, at a time when the defendant's driver's license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While License is Revoked on Nov. 1, 2007.

Demonte J. James, 19, of 47 Westwood Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on or about Oct. 26, 2013 by Cahokia police. James allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of Evelyn Garrard, located at 104 W. Adams Drive, Cahokia, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Isaac L. Smith, 30, of 1214 N. 16th St., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on suspended license by Cahokia police. Smith allegedly, drove a 2004 white Pontiac Aztec, on Camp Jackson Road, in Cahokia, while the defendant wa sunder the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were suspended.

James W. McDuffy, 43, of 617 W. Apple St., Freeburg, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license on or about April 27 by Freeburg police. McDuffy allegedly, drove a blue 2007 Chevrolet Colorado on West Apple St. in Freeburg, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were suspended for a violation.

Tamyra M. Guy, 23, of 1314 N. Charles St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of forgery on or about Sept. 3, 16, 17 2013 by O'Fallon police. Guy allegedly, with the intent to defraud, knowingly delivered to The Bank of Edwardsville, located at 1177 Greenmount Road, O'Fallon, a document apparently capable of defrauding another, int hat it was purported to have been made by another, Sprint, said document being a check, drawn on the First National Bank of St. Louis, dated Aug. 30, 2013, payable to Tamyra M. Guy in the amount of $613.35 and singed as drawer Sprint, knowing the document to have been thus made; a check in the amount of $361.40 twice.

Troy T. Johnson, 28, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of operating uninsured motor vehicle and operating motor vehicle with suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

Elsayed I. Hassan, 24, of Belleville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Daniel L. Hagen, 23, of Marissa, arrested on suspicion of suspended or revoked driver's license by Marissa police.

Dylan S. Kempf, 22 of Freeburg, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance andprobation violation by Marissa police.

Scott D. Gard, 41, of Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of two counts of driving under the influence by Millstadt police.
