Shiloh Art Show is Friday

The 13th Annual Shiloh School District Art Show is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. The halls of ShilohElementary Schoolwill be filled with students'work. Everyart student in the Shiloh School District will have at least one piece in theshow. Early childhood classes through the eighth grade have all contributed.

Students have drawn, painted, colored and sculpted creations, said art teacher Linda Johnson. At last count, the walls ofShilohElementary School will feature more than 1.000 original art pieces.

The art show also will have creative stations in the gym where children of all ages (adults, too) can make and takeart home. Art projects include flyingdragons, inflatable bubble, stamping patterns, Native American rubbings, VIPname tag design, building blocks, airplane design, animal mask and origamifortune tellers. Each station has easy-to-follow directions.
