Unseasonably cool again Thursday; will the weekend be nice?

If you liked the weather Wednesday in the metro-east, you'll probably like it Thursday, too.

Just like the day before, the high temperature is expected to be 57 degrees with a 30 percent chance of scattered showers, according to the National Weather Service. That's 15 degrees cooler than the average high temperature for this time of year in the St. Louis area.

The most likely chance for rain will be between 2-5 p.m. A 20 percent chance of scattered showers will continue into the evening hours, before the skies finally start to clear around 10 p.m. The overnight low will be 40.

On Friday the high temperature is expected to be 64 under partly sunny skies.

This weekend skies with be mostly sunny with a high of 75 on Saturday and 77 on Sunday.
