Other construction that may impract your travel in the metro-east includes:


Travel along Illinois 158 at Illinois 15 is clear. Traffic may also enter and exit the roundabout to and from Illinois 13 motorists need other routes from the roundabout to eastbound Illinois 15. Illinois 13 remains closed from the roundabout to Gerri Ann Dr.

Illinois 15 from Illinois 159 to Green Mount Road, lane restrictions through 2014.


Interstate 64, lane restrictions at Interstate 255 until June 1.

Interstate 255 between mile posts 19-20, lane restrictions until June 1.


Interstate 255 between Collinsville Road and Horse Shoe Lake Road, lane restrictions through May 30.

Interstate 255, lane restrictions from Horse Shoe Lake Road to Interstate 270.

Illinois 159 lane restrictions from Clay Street to Belt Line Road through Nov. 30, 2017

Fairmont Avenue bridge over Interstate 55/70 closed through 2014.


Illinois 3, lane restrictions from Main Street to Cahokia through June.

East St. Louis

Northbound Illinois 3 ramp to Interstates 55-64-70 permanently closed.

Interstate 64 has lane restrictions from 18th Street to Illinois 111 in both directions through October.

Granite City

Interstate 270 at the Chain of Rocks Canal Bridges, lane restrictions.


Illinois 4 at Perrin Road, lane restrictions for intersection work from through May.

Madison County

Interstate 255 between Horseshoe Lake Road and Interstate 270, lanes closed in both directions at all times. Expect significant delays through late fall.


Illinois 13, traffic reduced to one lane controlled by traffic signals from 3.41 miles west of Illinois 4 over East Tributary of Doza Creek through August.


Illinois 143 from U.S. 40 to Sugar Creek, traffic will be reduced to one lane and controlled by temporary traffic signals through Oct. 1

Pontoon Beach

Interstate 270 from Illinois 3 to Interstate 55, expect delays with lane restrictions in both directions through Aug. 1.

Troy and Collinsville

I-55-70 between Illinois 157 and Interstate 270, daytime lane restrictions, from March 31 through May 31.


Illinois 156, lane restrictions at Lakeview Drive through 2016.

Illinois 3, lane restrictions from South Market Street to North Market Street.



Interstate 44 to Memorial Drive West, closed for pavement construction. Expected to reopen by August.

St. Louis City, the Vandeventer ramps to and from westbound I-64 are closed until spring 2014. The westbound exit to Boyle Street is closed until mid-May.

St. Louis City, Interstate 64, drivers have three shifted 10-foot lanes in both directions between Newstead and Boyle until summer 2014. The right lane of eastbound I-64 exits at Kingshighway.

The Missouri Department of Transportation's website shows no construction activity on the JB Bridge.
