The annual Law Day Run was held Saturday morning on a 5K course through Belleville, which started and finished on High Street in downtown. The overall winner was Michael Aitken, 31, of St. Ann, Missouri. He is a member of the Michelob Ultra Runners club. First female across the line was Amy Fruland-Smock, 41, from Creve Coeur, Missouri. Larry Porter of Las Vegas was the sole entry in the wheelchair race category. He also competes for the Michelob Ultra Racers. This was the first time all three of these winners had raced at the Law Day Run.
