100 years ago, Frank Macke wrote the Belleville Home Coming March to celebrate the city's 100th birthday. On Sunday Macke's piano arrangement was used to create a full score and played by the Belleville Philharmonic during its concert honoring Belleville's 200th anniversary. Macke was a former conductor of the Philharmonic. It was the first time Macke's granddaughter, Kathy Liddy, had heard the march played by a full orchestra.
