Apples, oranges and Shiloh

May 5, 2014

Last week's BND and O'Fallon Progress contained articles about the recycling issue within the village. The articles said that 1,210 surveys had been returned from about 13,000 residents. These articles were talking about apples and oranges. Not every resident of the village received these surveys. The surveys were sent to "households" within the village, not the residents.

It's amazing that no one realized that their statements were misleading.
