Car chase ends in Belleville with arrest

A Cahokia man has been charged with a felony count of fleeing from police after leading officers in a car chase that ended in Belleville.

Ronald Neal Jr., 31, of 107 Jerome Lane, led police Saturday on a chase that was more than 21 miles an hour above the speed limit, according to Belleville police reports.

He was captured at 12:47 a.m. Saturday.

Neal was being held in jail, with bail set at $10,000.
