Royal kids fun

Young princesses and knights need to find their gowns and armor and make plans now to attend the second annual She and Me, Joust & Tea from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Hope Church in Belleville.

The event is geared towards boys and girls 10 and under. Expect a fairy-tale atmosphere with games, sword and wand decorating, as well as other crafts, storytime, a joust just right for youngsters and a mini dessert bar.

Children are encouraged to wear costumes and each will go home with their own tea cup and saucer and favors. Cost is $10 and children must be accompanied by an adult. RSVP by calling 277-1800.

Funds raised from event will benefit Family Hospice's Heartlinks Grief Center in Belleville so it can continue to offer group therapy for children and families, as well as other programs.
