FBI raids 'vampire facelift' clinic in Wood River

The Federal Bureau of investigation on Thursday raided a Wood River clinic.

Investigators were at Riverbend Physical Medicine collecting evidence. The FBI did not say if anything was found or what they were looking for.

According to Riverbend Physical Medicine's website, the clinic offers treatment for peripheral neuropathy, or tingling and burning in the hands and feet. It said it also treats weight loss, allergies, pain management, hormone replacement therapy and platelet rich plasma therapy, which is also known as the "vampire facelift."

Clinic owner James Riggs coulcn't be reached for comment.
