Classes on energy saving to be offered in East St. Louis

A series of free classes beginning Saturday in East St. Louis will introduce energy saving instructors with consumers.

The Citizens For A Better East St. Louis and the Rev. Larry Rice of New Life Evangelistic Center in St. Louis partnered to provide these sessions from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, May 17 and May 31 at St. Paul's Baptist Church, 1500 Bond Ave. in East St. Louis.

Discussion topics include solar cooking, oven construction, preparing for winter heating, solar water distillation, solar car construction, passive solar oven construction and clay pot coffee can heater construction.
