Taveras, Wong and Grichuk lighting up Memphis scoreboard

The Cardinals top prospects are putting on a show with the bats Tuesday in Memphis.

Through seven innings Oscar Taveras has three hits in four at-bats with a run scored and a pair batted in. Kolten Wong is also 3-for-4 and has a homer and four RBI while Randal Grichuk has a pair of hits in four trips to the plate with a homer.

Memphis leads Round Rock 9-3.

On the mound, rehabbing reliever Jason Motte threw one scoreless inning of relief. He gave up one hit and neither walked nor struck out any batters. He threw 14 pitches and 10 were strikes.
