St. Louis man accused of impersonating a police officer in Brooklyn

A 45-year-old St. Louis man was charged Sunday with impersonating a police officer in Brooklyn.

Michael McGuire, of 313 Avril Ave. in St. Louis, was charged with one count of impersonating a police officer. His bail was set at $40,000.

The warrant said McGuire committed the felony offense on May 10 when he misrepresented himself as a police officer while talking to Brooklyn Police Officer Quentin Askew. McGuire remained in the St. Clair County Jail on Tuesday.
