Anyone can be a politician

Just about every occupation requires some form of formal training, which can range from a college education to apprenticeship programs. Only in the field of politics can a person be in charge of millions of tax dollars and not be required to be able to balance a checkbook. Maybe this is why career politicians are afraid of term limits; the real world can be a scary place.
