Will storms move out before Memorial Day weekend?

The high temperature Thursday is expected to reach about 83 in the metro-east with partly sunny skies expected for most of the day.

But a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service. The most likely chance for rain is after 1 p.m.

The chance of thunderstorms remains at 30 percent overnight when the low will drop to 60.

On Friday, partly sunny skies are expected with a high of 79. There is a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms expected.

The Memorial Day weekend is expected to be dry. Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast for all three days with a high temperature of 78 Saturday, 83 Sunday and 86 Monday.
