Thunderstorms remain in forecast

A 40 percent chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast for Thursday with the most likely chance of rain coming after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The high is temperature is expected to reach 85 under overcast skies.

The likelihood of storms decreases to 30 percent Thursday evening when the low will be 66.

Friday is expected to start with mostly sunny skies and the high will climb to 85. But thunderstorms will again be a threat with a 30 percent chance of rain.

The most likely time for storms to make an appearance will come after 1 p.m. The chance of rain will linger until about 1 a.m. Saturday.

The weather will remain similar over the weekend with a chance of thunderstorms and highs in the mid 80s expected on Saturday and Sunday.
