TUESDAY, MAY 27

William L. Porter II, 36, of 6333 Church Road, Centreville, arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property and two counts of violating orders of protection on or about May 20 by Swansea police. Porter allegedly, damaged property of Marla Shackelford, a window in Maria Shackelford's residence, located at 209 Big Bend Blvd., Swansea, without Maria Shackelford's consent, said damage in excess of $300; having been served with the contents of an order of protection, did knowingly commit an act which was prohibited by the order of protection in that said defendant came within 500 feet of 209 Big Bend Blvd., Swansea, a protected address; did knowingly commit an act which was prohibited by the order of protection in that said defendant called Marie Shackelford, a protected party, on the phone.

Christine A. Benwell, 46, of 4251 Oak Lane, Apt. 3, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of participation in methamphetamine manufacturing from between May 19 and May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Benwell allegedly, participated in the manufacture of 900 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine, with the intent that methamphetamine or a substance containing methamphetamine be produced.

Norman L. Monroe Jr., 36, 312 N. 11th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of participation of methamphetamine manufacturing from between May 19 and May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Monroe allegedly, participated in the manufacture of 900 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine, with the intent that methamphetamine or a substance containing methamphetamine be produced.

Joseph Burnett, 27, homeless, arrested on suspicion of unlawful procurement of methamphetamine precursor from between May 3 and May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Burnett allegedly, procured a methamphetamine perecursor in standard dose form, being a substance containing pseudoephedrine, with the intent that it be used to manufacture a substance containing mehtamphetamine.

Leslie A. Ellerbrock, 43, of 706 Lebanon Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of participation in methamphetamine manufacturing from between May 19 and May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Ellerbrock allegedly, participated in the manufacture of 900 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine, with the intent that methamphetamine or a substance containing methamphetamine be produced.

Randy J. Cox, 56, of 3509 W. A St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of participation in methamphetamine manufacturing from between May 19 and May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Cox allegedly, participated in the manufacture of 900 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine, with the intent that methamphetamine or a substance containing methamphetamine be produced.

Jessica R. Burnett, 23, of 1019 Caseyville Ave., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of participation of methamphetamine manufacturing from between May 19 and May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Burnett allegedly, participated int he manufacture of 900 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine, with the intent that methamphetamine or a substance containing methamphetamine be produced.

Jeffrey P. Melvin, 26, of 4752 Chalfin Bridge Road, Fults, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary from between May 9 and May 10 by St. Clair County sheriff. Melvin allegedly, entered into the dwelling place of Derek Mueth, located at 4600 Orlet Road, Waterloo, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Albert B. Reel, 57, of 2207 Grand Ave., Apt. A, Granite City, arrested on suspicion of theft on or about May 23 by O'Fallon police. Reel allegedly, took merchandise from Menards, 1179 Central Park, O'Fallon, being two Bostitch tack hammers, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of Reatil Theft Subsequent on Aug. 27, 2001.

Joseph C. Sumpter, 29, of 324 Joan Ave., Marissa, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles on or about May 24 by Marissa police. Sumpter allegedly, had in his possession a substance containing amphetamine, a controlled substance; possessed a glass pipe, with the intent to use that glass pipe ingesting or otherwise introducing a controlled substance into his body; possessed two metal spoons, with the intent to use those spoons in ingesting or otherwise introducing a controlled substance into his body; possessed a syringe, with the intent to use that syringe in ingesting or otherwise introducing a controlled substance into his body.

Christopher L. Chartrand, 33, of 214 S. 8th St., East Carondelet, arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery, subsequent on or about May 24 by Cahokia police. Chartrand allegedly, made physical contact with Amanda S. Chartrand, a family/household member, in that the defendant punched her in her body and struck her in her head. Defendant had been previously convicted of Domestic Battery, Subsequent Offense on Jan. 19, 2012.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 28

Wayne R. Spires, 44, of 22 Pleansant Valley, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery, on or about May 25 by Swansea police. Spires allegedly, in committing a battery, and by the use of a deadly weapon, a motor vehicle, knowingly caused bodily harm to Timothy Hazzard, in that he struck Timothy Hazzard with the vehicle.

George H. Hannah III, 30, of 626 N. 38th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage to property, five counts of domestic battery and three counts of endangering the life and health of a child on or about Jan. 23 by East St. Louis police. Hannah allegedly, in committing a domestic battery, knowingly caused permanent disfigurement to Kimashea Williams, a family/household member, in that the said defendant struck her in the mouth, knocking out her front tooth; knowingly damaged property of Kimashea Williams, a televison located in the residence located at 1328 N. 44th St., Apt. 25D, East St. Louis, without the consent of Kimashea Williams, said damage in excess of $300; made physical contact with Kimashea Willias, in that said defendant repeatedly punched her in the face; bit her finger; pushed her; knowingly made physical contact with a male minor with initials K.W., date of birth, July 17, 2001, in that said defendant pushed said minor; knowingly made physical contact with a male minor with initials J.M., date of birth, April 18, 2008, said defendant pushed said minor; willfully caused the life or health of a male minor, with the inititals J.M., date of birth, April 18, 2008, to be endangered in that said defendant had a physical altercation with Kimashea Williams while said minor was present; willfully caused the life or health of a male minor with the initials K.W., date of birth, July 17, 2001, to be endangered in that said defendant had a physical altercation with Kimashea Williams while said minor was present; willfully caused the life or health of a female minor with the initials I.H., date of birth, Aug. 24, 2012, to be endangered in that said defendant had a physical altercation with Kimashea Williams while said minor was present.

Roger G. Davis Jr., 43, of 8505 Cole St., Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about May 27 by Fairview Heights police. Davis allegedly, took merchandise from Kohl's, 6109 N. Illinois St., Fairview HEights, being one t0shirt, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of Burglary on Oct. 15, 2009.

Christopher A. Davis, 59, of 517 Art St., Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of failure to report change of address as a sex offender, subsequent and failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent from between May 4 and May 27 by Fairmont City police. Davis allegedly, a sex offender, knowingly failed to notify registering law enforcement agency of a change of address, in accordance with the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, with the Chief of Police of Fairmont City, within 3 days of change of his residence address; knowingly failed to renew registration with the Chief of Police of Fairmont City, within 90 days of last registration. Defendant had been previously convicted of Sex Offender Registration Act on Aug. 1, 2013.

FRIDAY, MAY 30

Cory A. Keck, 22, of 6100 S. State Route 159, New Athens, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful possession of stolen firearms on or about May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Keck allegedly, not being entitled to the possession of not less than 2 and not more than 5 firearms, being 2 .50 caliber musket guns, possessed those firearms at the same time, knowing the firearms to have been stolen.

Brittany N. Marquart, 22, of 6100 S. State Route 159, New Athens, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary from between May 9 and May 10 and aggravated unlawful possession of stolen firearms on or about May 22 by St. Clair County sheriff. Marquart allegedly, and without authority, entered into the dwelling place of Derek Mueth, located at 4600 Orlet Road, Waterloo, with the intent to commit theft therein; not being entitled to the possession of not less than 2 and not more than 5 firearms, being 2 .50 caliber musket guns, possesses those firearms at the same time, knowing the firearms to have been stolen.

Christian J. Gerfin, 23, of 4567 Yaeger Road, Freeburg, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary from between May 9 and May 10 by St. Clair County sheriff. Gerfin allegedly, and without authority, entered into the dwelling place of Derek Mueth, located at 4600 Orlet Road, Waterloo, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Vincent J. Beamon II, 27, of 81 Northbrook Circle, 37, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance; four counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon on or about May 27 by St. Clair County sheriff. Beamon allegedly, possessed with the intent to deliver one gram or more but less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin; delivered to a Confidential Source less than one gram of a substance containing heroin (four times); possessed in a residence a .40 caliber pistol. Defendant had been previously convicted of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance on March 11, 2008.

Nancy O. Collins, 29, of 81 Northbrook Circle, 37, Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance on or about May 27 by St. Clair County sheriff. Collins allegedly, possessed with the intent to deliver one gram or more but less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Adam T. Wangelin, 24, of 4 Tanewood Court, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance on or about May 24 by Caseyville police. Wangelin allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Thomas C. Wangelin III, 31, of 1808 N. 16th St., Swansea; arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance on or about May 24 by Caseyville police. Wangelin allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Sean A. Mosley, 27, of 1421 3rd Ave., Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of unlawful restraint, three counts of domestic battery on or about May 28 by Fairview Heights police. Mosely allegedly, grabbed Tiffany Y. Jackson by her hair and arm and dragged her into the residence located at 1421 3rd Ave., Fairview Heights; knowingly made physical contact with Tiffany Y. Jackson, a family/household member, in that the defendant struck her in the face with his hand; dragged her by her hair and arm; grabbed her by her arm.

Michael C. Williams II; 25, of 1855 N. 44th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of first degree murder on or about Dec. 24, 2011 by Illinois State Police. Williams allegedly, without lawful justification and with the intent to kill or do great bodily harm to Edward Austin, shot him with a handgun, thereby causing the death of Edward Austin.

Treveon E. Burrage, 21, of 2141 St. Louis Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of first degree murder by Illinois State Police. Burrage allegedly, without lawful justification and with the intent to kill or do great bodily harm to Joseph Griggs, shot Griggs in the head with a pistol, therby causing the death of Joseph Griggs.

Anthony B. Hibbler, 18, of 1328 N. 44th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery with a firearm on or about May 4 by East St. Louis police. Hibbler allegedly, and by the discharge of a firearm, knowingly caused an injury to Michael King, in that he shot Michael King in the leg with a gun.

Sterling L. James, 30, of 2310 W. Frank Scott Parkway, Apt. 9, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery on or about May 29 by Belleville police. James allegedly, strangled a female with the initials A.C., date of birth, July 19, 1984, a family/household member, in that said defendant wrapped his arm around the neck of the aforementioned female and applied pressure, impeding the normal breathing of the female with the initials A.C.
