What's out there: Big chairs, golf nets and a man cave sign

June 8, 2014

Big chair: This is a chair fit for a king. More than 5 feet tall and commanding a view from on high, it is able to hold up to 350 pounds. Dad can sit in comfort on the sidelines of a ball game, by the campside fire or in his own backyard. The King View Quad Chair ($99.99) has six cup holders (in case the kiddos want to join him), weather-resistant fabric and a carbon steel frame. It comes with an insulated cooler and a wheeled carrying case. You'll find it at Menard's in O'Fallon.

Golf net: Let Dad get in some practice time without needing a green in his backyard. This Chipping Net ($24.97) is collapsible and holds golf balls in the inner circle for easy retrieval. You'll find it at Walmart in O'Fallon, near the main entrance in a special Father's Day section.

Man cave sign: Just in case Dad needs some help explaining the rules of the man cave, he can point to this sign. It's from At Home (formerly Garden Ridge) in O'Fallon and costs $29.99.
