Mobile home fire near Belleville under investigation

Villa Hills and Northwestern Volunteer firefighters worked on a mobile home blaze Wednesday morning at 110 Princeton in the Villa Hills neighborhood near Belleville.

A vacant mobile home burned down Wednesday morning in the Villa Hills neighborhood near Belleville.

The fire was at about 10 a.m. Wednesday at 110 Princeton Drive near Belleville. The Villa Hills Fire Department handled the fire with help from Northwestern Volunteer fire. By 11 a.m. the trailer was reduced to a smoking pile of crumpled metal.

No one was inside and there was no immediate cause determined. Firefighters said the Office of the State Fire Marshal will investigate.
