Find those sunglasses: Rain takes a couple days off

Metro-east residents on Friday will finally get a break from wet weather.

Skies will be sunny throughout the day with a high of 77, according to the National Weather Service.

It will be clear Friday night with the low dropping to 53.

On Saturday, more sunshine is forecast with a high of 81.

But rain could move back into the picture Sunday. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with the most likely chance of rain coming after 1 p.m. The high temperature is expected to reach 88.
