Blues include 12 Saturday night home games in 2014-15 schedule

News-DemocratJune 22, 2014

The St. Louis Blues released their 2014-15 regular season schedule on Sunday and it includes 12 popular Saturday night home games as well as a seven-game homestand from Jan. 10-29, 2015.

The Blues open the regular season at home Oct. 9 against the New York Rangers and Oct. 11 at home against Calgary.

The first Chicago Blackhawks visit to Scottrade Center will be 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

In a rare scheduling quirk, the Blues will be at home from Jan. 8 through Jan. 29 with a seven-game homestand. However, they have a 10-day break between games while playing Colorado Jan. 19 and Nashville on Jan. 29.

The Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings visit St. Louis on Dec. 16. In February, the Blues have an attractive four-game homestand that includes visits from Dallas (Feb. 17), Boston (Feb. 20), Pittsburgh (Feb. 21) and Montreal (Feb. 24).

The Blues' longest road trip is six games from March 15-24.
