Grateful for a day of fun

June 26, 2014

I live in Cambridge House in O'Fallon, and I went to the Catholic Ministry to the Sick and Aged picnic for the first time. It was held on the old orphanage grounds.

I met some real nice young people and some other workers. We had a great time and lots of Christian fellowship. The weather looked bad, but did clear up. There was also wonderful music and dancing. As I said, lots of good fun and food. Also the treat bags had lots of "goodies" in them.

I hope to go again next year and every year it is offered. I definitely agree with Connie Barre, assistant director, when she said a good time was had by all. Once again, I want to say thanks and God bless all who helped.
