Second fugitive charged in Cahokia woman's murder

A second man was charged with murder on Tuesday after a Cahokia woman was shot during a home invasion and died.

Torrence Neal, 25, of St. Louis, faces charges stating he murdered Cassandra Holman, 45, of Cahokia, and shot Shantner Bonner in the leg. He remained a fugitive Tuesday.

Antrell A. Teen, 31, of Bridgeton, Mo., was charged Sunday with first-degree murder and aggravated battery with a firearm in the same case.

Investigators with the Major Case Squad on Tuesday were still working to find Teen, Neal and a woman they called a person of interest in the home invasion and shootings.

Teen is known to frequent the Overland, Mo., area and is known to drive a blue 2001 BMW X5 vehicle. St. Louis Police are also looking for the trio.

Holman was shot multiple times before daybreak Friday inside her home in the 100 block of Kenneth Avenue in Cahokia. Charges state she was shot in the back.

She was able to run to a neighbor for help but she died at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville two hours after the shooting. Bonner was also shot in the leg during the home invasion but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Teen was described as armed and dangerous. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. Neal is 5 feet, 8 inches and 198 pounds.
