Not so fast on Christmas market idea

July 1, 2014

I have lived in Belleville all of my life and I have seen many changes, both good and bad. The idea of a German Christmas market in the Public Square is one of the most ridiculous ideas.

I agree with the Kecks and other local merchants, they are here 12 months a year working to keep and make Belleville the city it should be. The time frame being talked about is the busiest time of the year, and now organizers want to take sales away from them? Time to go back to the drawing board and think this over.
