No exception for student

July 6, 2014

Vantezz Carter, the student who brought a firearm replica to Belleville West High School and pointed it at others, was expelled which means he will not graduate and lose a possible football scholarship. The punishment is tough but why should an exception be made in his case? He knew the rules but chose to do what he did. The people who are supporting his reinstatement are probably the same folks who are shocked and cry for more gun control after a mass shooting occurs at a public gathering. That would be a little hypocritical, ya' think?

A stupid mistake can haunt you your entire life: Vantezz learned that lesson the hard way.
