Police say they have located a person who fits the description of a man blamed for attempting to lure children to get into his truck over the Fourth of July weekend.

The man was characterized as a "person of interest," not a suspect. But police said they have questioned him about approaching children and said that he is cooperating.

Police in Gillespie and Benld fielded at least three separate reports of a white male in a gold 1990s model Ford pick-up who tried to convince kids to get into his vehicle.

There is no word yet if charges will be filed against the man. His name has not been released.
