End corporate protection

July 15, 2014

Hobby Lobby: If a corporation refuses to insure any legal medical procedure or doctor-ordered drug, it should also give up its corporate protection.

Many family-owned businesses incorporate to avoid lawsuits. They put all assets such as buildings, equipment and land in family holdings and then rent them to the business. Then if the company does something wrong, and in some cases illegal, an individual cannot sue the individuals because the corporation did it. And the corporation has no assets to sue for.

The Supreme Court has now given corporations a soul. Too bad they didn't give them consciences. Little by little they are turning this country into a monarchy.

More and more, money controls Congress and less than 1 percent of the people control the money.

Wake up, America.
