Let's try this again; Uno gets his day after weather cancels Chicago event Tuesday

It’s Uno’s day, take two.
Severe weather canceled the day that was to be declared official Uno Day in Illinois Tuesday.
The event has been rescheduled for today at 9:30 a.m. in Chicago where Illinois Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn will declare today Uno the Beagle Day.
The Belleville-born beagle is the first beagle to ever win Best of Show in the 132-year history of the Westminster dog show in New York. He won that honor last month.
Uno’s co-owner and breeder, Kathy Weichert of Belleville and his handler, Aaron Wilkerson of Lugoff, S.C. will be at the Chicago event.
“Historians tell us that Abraham Lincoln walked through Springfield with his faithful dog Fido at his heels,” Quinn said. “By declaring Uno the Beagle Day throughout the state of Illinois, we honor this exceptional dog who is serving as a goodwill ambassador for his hometown and home state. But just as important, Uno Day in Illinois gives us all a special opportunity to remember the millions of dogs who provide us with constant companionship and unconditional love.”
