A 10-year-old girl died from injuries she suffered when the all-terrain vehicle she was riding on flipped onto the top of her Friday evening near New Douglas.

The friend of a Troy man who was found dead Tuesday in a cemetery has been charged in connection with his death.
The annual East West All-Star Challenge wrestling event will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Jon Davis Wrestling Center on the campus of Edwardsvile High School.

Illinois farmers have until March 15 to sign up for Non-insured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAPS) coverage and also crop insurance on most spring-seeded crops.
In February, the Silver Creek Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution played host to Illinois DAR State Regent Luanne Bruckner. Her presentation was “Spirit in Illinois.”
