Terry Sedlacek was found not guilty by reason of insanity six years after he shot Pastor Fred Winters during services at First Baptist Church of Maryville in 2009. Sedlacek has remained in custody since March 8, 2009, when he walked into the church during Winters’ sermon and fired a .45 handgun at the pastor, striking him once in the chest.
Three suspects are in custody related to their alleged involvement in the death of Kenneth Easley of Shiloh, according to an announcement from the Major Case Squad of Greatest St. Louis. The suspects are two adult males and one juvenile male.
