MetroLink service extended Saturday to accomodate Komen Race for the Cure

Those planning to attend the Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure in downtown St. Louis Saturday will have access to extended MetroLink service.

The light rail trains will be leaving every 15 minutes between 5:45 a.m. and noon from Lambert Airport (Red Line), Shrewsbury (Blue Line) and Scott Air Force Base. Commuters boarding between the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and Fairview Heights station will be able to catch a train to downtown St. Louis every seven minutes.

Following the race, MetroLink will resume normal scheduled service, running every 20 minutes. For more information, contact Metro Transit Information at 271-2345.
