Southern Illinois to get $1.27 million in road repair funding

The Illinois Department of Transportation will provide $1.27 million in funding for Southern Illinois road projects planned for the spring.

In projects secured by Sen. Kyle McCarter, R-Lebanon, and Rep. Ron Stephens, R-Greenville, funding from the department's $150 million Emergency Repair Program will be used to resurface Alton Street from Belleville Street to Ursula Drive in Lebanon, resurface Gallatin Street in Vandalia and rehabilitate South Fourth Street in Greenville.
