A 34-year-old Carlyle man died Friday morning after his vehicle crashed on Interstate 64 near
Jason M. Martin was westbound at about 10:26 a.m. when the front tire on the driver's side of his 1993 Ford dump truck blew out, and the truck crashed into the median and rolled over, according to an Illinois State Police accident report.
Martin was not wearing a seat belt, and was ejected from the vehicle.
He was taken to Washington County Hospital where he died from his injuries.
