Lane and ramp closures planned for Illinois 111 beginning Monday

Lane and ramp closures will be encountered on northbound Illinois 111 at the interchange with Interstate 270 near Pontoon Road beginning Monday, weather permitting.

The closures are necessary to replace damaged concrete pavement on Illinois 111 and on the adjacent ramp. Traffic will be rerouted by utilizing a marked detour along I-270 and Illinois 159, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

The estimated completion date is Nov. 25.
