A two-truck accident killed a Highland woman just after 4 a.m. Friday on U.S. 40 at Kennedy Lane, near the park-and-ride in Highland. The crash killed 45-year-old Charlene Johnson and sent 36-year-old Wayne Stayton of Collinsville to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland.
