Arby's is offering some freebies on Wednesdays this summer. From now through Aug. 26, the restaurant will offer the following specials as part of its Wednesday FREEbies campaign:

* July 1: free regular Roast Beef 'n Cheddar with any soft drink purchase.

* July 8: free Jamocha Swirl Shake with any sandwich purchase.

* July 15: free regular Roast Beef with any soft drink purchase.

* July 22: free Roastburger with any soft drink purchase.

* July 29: free Iced FruiTea with any sandwich purchase.

* Aug. 5: free regular Roast Beef with any soft drink purchase.

* Aug. 12: free Roast Chicken Club with any soft drink purchase.

* Aug. 19: free iced FruiTea with any sandwich purchase.

* Aug. 26: free regular Beef 'n Cheddar with any soft drink purchase.

On July 4, Arby's will give you a free Roastburger with the purchase of fries as part of its "Freedom From Burger Day" promotion.

American TV & App-liance is now recycling old and unwanted electronics -- and most of it at no charge.

The Madison, Wis.-based electronics store chain will accept cameras, camcorders, mobile or cordless phones, MP3 players, TVs smaller than 27 inches, desktop computers, printers, stereo receivers, tape players and recorders, speakers, VCRs and DVD players for no charge.

TVs, laptop computers and computer monitors over 27 inches carry a $10 recycling charge but will receive a $10 Rewards Card good for a future purchase.

American will also haul away and recycle any old TV at no charge for customers who receive professional home delivery -- offer good on a one-time basis.

Ricky Bullard has opened a new store where he custom-makes T-shirts and soy candles in Highland, and wants to branch out into Belleville and Edwardsville. For now, you can find Bald Buzzard's Tees near the downtown square in Highland at 1015 Main St. He can make you embroidered, hot-iron press, air-brushed and silk-screened T-shirts, or soy candles, for any event. His store also includes a jeweler who will design and create custom orders. You can call the new store at 593-1922. ...

Keller Farms has set up its stand of fresh produce for the season at West Main and 70th streets in Belleville. ...
