Belleville church celebrates anniversary
First Christian Church of Belleville is celebrating its 80th anniversary Sunday.
The original church building was built Nov. 15, 1929 in one day. It still stands but is no longer used as a church. The current sanctuary was built in 1958.
After regular services Sunday, a catered combined Thanksgiving and celebration meal will be served in the activity center.

Bluegrass gospel concert offered
A bluegrass gospel group, Beaucoup Creek, will be in concert at 10:35 a.m. Sunday at Glenview Church of the Nazarene, 400 Glen Carbon Road, Glen Carbon.
