* Learn how American Indians made dishes during a pottery demonstration at 8:30 a.m. See how to shape and mold clay into a bowl or pot that you can take home. Meet at the log cabin located next to the Visitor Center at 8:30 a.m.
* Nature Fun-N-Games, 11 a.m. Features a water balloon toss, tug-of-war, scavenger hunt, three legged race, fireman's relay and more. Meet at the playground near the camping area at 11 a.m.
* Learn about bobcats at 2 p.m. Meet at the Visitor Center at 2 p.m.

CHILI COOK-OFF: Lebanon's Winter Wonderland will host its second chili cook-off Sept. 26. Chili cooks and craft vendors are being sought.
To participate in the cook-off, call 537-6614. To participate as a crafter, call 537-8428.

DULCIMER FESTIVAL: The Gateway Dulcimer Festival will be Aug. 7-9 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, 442 S. DeMazenod Drive, Belleville.
Beginner to advance classes will be offered, as well as concerts, jam areas and vendors.
Registration deadline is July 25. After the deadline, on-site registration will not include lunches. Additional concert tickets are $10 per person, per night.
CHILI COOK-OFF: The Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is seeking chili cooks to participate in the annual Chili Cook-Off from Oct. 2-3 in downtown Belleville.
Judging is Oct. 3. Cash awards are presented to not-for-profit winners. Commercial winners receive ribbons and bragging rights.
