What qualifies you for this position?
“I spent a portion of the last 10 years of my career assisting two different municipalities in handling code enforcement, zoning and building issues and ordinance drafting. I also have represented small and large businesses, as well as individuals, in their efforts to obtain zoning variances and special use permits from governmental bodies for the growth and development of their business and community. As a trustee, I would bring a knowledge and understanding of how a municipality should work with its residents and businesses to accomplish both of their respective goals.”
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
“I believe a top issue facing Glen Carbon is the growth of the village, which is uniquely situated in a region seeing great progress. I believe in development for Glen Carbon that is planned and appropriate for the benefit of both the businesses and residents of the community. I would accomplish this by encouraging proactive efforts be made by the village to foster development. To ensure transparency in these efforts, I promise to maintain open and direct contact with the residents of Glen Carbon to obtain their feedback on both public and private development.”
