“Like myself, so many families have been part of the Old Glen Carbon Heritage for many years and I feel extremely fortunate that my family has been here for 109 years. I strongly appreciate my ties to the area and hope other families, young and old, will grow and prosper for generations to come.
“As a middle class working adult, I understand the needs, budgeting and obligations of the everyday events that occur in the lives of people just like me.
“Being a long time resident of Glen Carbon, I trust I am approachable for discussion and have a good understanding of the concerns of our citizens.”
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
“Allow the continued growth of the community while maintaining the integrity of the close nit ‘family’ we have.
“Facilitate employment opportunities through growth and revenue for businesses, large and small, and help relieve added expense to our home owners.
“Make certain the trustees duties are to be aligned to the citizens, allowing them to bring their concerns and wishes to the board.
“Maintain the dignity as a home town community while allowing positive growth
“Help understand the burdens and restraints of the small businesses and help alleviate the challenges they face.”
