“Cuts in state revenue while promoting growth is a top concern in Godfrey. Also the village is losing two fine trustees not seeking re-election.
“The Godfrey Board of Trustees has always managed revenue well; suspected cuts will affect operating expenses, infrastructure improvements and recreation programs our residents enjoy.
“One focus will be to entice new businesses and revenue to our community, fairly applying incentives considerate to businesses who are already our neighbors. Secondly, push for cost avoidance’s and limit tax levies as Godfrey has always done will be addressed with every decision, every budget.”
